The Ruvati Fiamma RVL4018GRG is a 30″ fireclay farmhouse sink in matte black with a brushed gold apron, handbuilt in Italy by artisans who have mastered their craft over generations. The inside bowl and rim are matte black, and the front apron has a brush-textured matte gold finish made with real 24K gold mixed into the paint for a true gold color.
The clay is fired at 2900°F for 28 hours, so the enamel surface fuses with the solid body. The result resists chips, cracks, abrasion, and scratches, and stands up to high temperatures, hot water, acids, and household chemicals. That makes it a stronger choice than cast iron enamel or ceramic sinks, which can chip or crack more easily.
The drain sits on the right side and the bottom slopes toward it, so water drains completely and you get more storage room in the cabinet below. The bowl is 9″ deep, and a stainless steel bottom rinse grid is included to protect the bottom and let water drain freely.
Dimensions: Exterior 30″ (wide) x 18″ (front-to-back). Interior 28″ x 16″ x 9″ deep. Requires a 33″ minimum base cabinet. The 3.5″ drain fits any garbage disposal; because of the 1″ thick fireclay bottom, you may need an extended flange.
Who it's for: Anyone designing a black and gold kitchen who wants the sink to be the showpiece, in genuine Italian fireclay.
