The Plaisir in matte gray is one of the more genuinely "smart" toilets we carry, not just a standard bowl with a bidet bolted on. It's a tankless design — it connects straight to your home's waterline instead of relying on a gravity tank, which gives it a cleaner, lower-profile look in the bathroom. The tradeoff with tankless units is usually "what happens in a power outage," and Plaisir addresses that directly with a backup battery that keeps the mechanical flush working even if the power drops.

Where it really separates itself is control options. You get a manual side button, automatic flush on standing, full remote control, and a jet flush setting for tougher jobs — so however you prefer to operate it, there's a path that doesn't involve touching anything with your hands if you don't want to. The foot sensor lid extends that same hands-free approach to opening and closing the seat.

The bidet side is fully adjustable rather than one-size-fits-all: independent front and rear wash, adjustable water temperature and pressure, a pulsating massage mode, a warm air dryer, and a self-cleaning nozzle that rinses itself before and after each use. Add the heated soft-close seat, an LED temperature display, and a built-in night light that illuminates the bowl, and this is a toilet that's genuinely designed for late-night, hands-free, and cold-morning use cases — not just marketed that way.
